Regional Marketing Manager (EM Region)
As a key member of the Emerging Markets Commercial Marketing team, the Regional Marketing Manager (RMM) (the ‘Candidate’) will be responsible for executing against regional marketing programmes that support Dell’s business initiatives to drive demand and deliver Dell’s revenue and unit targets across all products and services, selling to Dell’s Channel, Retail partners & end users across the region, with a principle focus on promoting Dell’s Enterprise Solutions to end-users either directly or via a Preferred Partner community. As such, the Candidate must have a broad knowledge of the IT industry, Dell’s strategy including product, services and solutions offerings, competitors, and an in depth knowledge of marketing strategies, tactics and initiatives.
The Candidate will manage a core team of Country Marketing Managers (CMM’s) and Field Marketing Managers (FMM’s) across the defined region and will have primary responsibility for, amongst others, their marketing strategies, budget management, marketing campaigns, pipeline targets and ROI metric reporting. The Candidate will have frequent and regular interactions with the country General Managers, and the Regional Sales and Solutions Directors.
The role also requires engagement with the regional distribution and reseller channels, retail partners, preferred partners and end customers in order to better understand both their pain-points and business requirements; this localised information being required to be fed back into the EM-EMEA marketing team in order to better shape the overall EM-EMEA strategic plan and marketing programs.
The Candidate will work closely with the functional members of the greater Emerging Marketing team, including, but not limited to, the Enterprise Solutions Marketing Manager and the Retail/Distribution Marketing Manager and will be an active member of the EM-EMEA marketing SMT.

Responsibilities:
Develop an intimate understanding of the Regional/Country market dynamics, opportunities, channel and end customer requirements in order to provide inputs and insights that will help to shape the overall EM-EMEA and Regional Marketing Plans
Implement & execute effectively against the defined EM-wide marketing plan within budget and vendor funding guidelines in order to meet or exceed the overall regional business goals.
Formulate and implement localized tactical actions in order to take advantage of any regional specific opportunities, or to bridge any regional P&L or market growth gaps, as required.
Demonstrate effective campaign ROI by generating quality sales and channel leads, thereby contributing to overall sales pipeline build and converted revenue contributions (as per allocated regional target levels)
Lead and manage the regional marketing team via regular team meetings; 1:1 interactions and effective coaching.
Summarise and cascade key Dell marketing information via a managed and repeatable communications channel ensuring that all key stakeholders are fully apprised of the regional marketing activity and business impact.
Engage in the preparation of, and participate in, the regional Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’S) and sales forecasting process
Ensure that the key DELL messages and talking points are effectively leveraged through the local primary market media by establishing effective relationships with the local PR agencies and press representatives.

Qualifications

Required Skills:
Degree level education, an MBA an advantage
8 years’ experience in an international marketing management role, with specific focus and experience in Country marketing would be a significant benefit.
