SECRETARY - SADC Secretariat

The SADC Secretariat invites suitably qualified and experienced applicants who are citizens of Botswana to apply for the position of Secretary under the Procurement Unit.

Overall Purpose of the job: To provide Secretarial services to the designated Directorate/Unit.

Main duties and Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Supervisor's Office
  • Assisting with preparation of documents
  • Ensuring that meetings and appointments are well organized
  • Receiving clients coming to the Directorate/Unit
  • Undertaking typing work for the Directorate/Unit
  • Making sure that documents are presented on time, are accurate and consistent

Qualifications:

Diploma in Secretarial Services, Office Administration

Experience:

Three (3) years relevant experience.

  • Time management
  • Attention to detail/Accuracy
  • Service oriented and commitment
  • Knowledge of French or Portuguese will be an added advantage.

Duration of the Contract:

2 years

Remuneration:

US $24,131 x 1015 – 30, 221 per annum
