Senior Public Sector Specialist

The BOOST project implementation unit will be based in PRMPS and report to PRMPS management. The unit will be staffed by Senior Public Sector Specialist and up to three staff. The Senior Public Sector Specialist will be responsible for day to day implementation of the project. She/he will:

• Program coordination and promotion of BOOST expenditure data and analysis with other WBG programs and with PRMPS, PREMED, WBI and regional PREM teams.
• Development of an annual work program for the BOOST project and periodic reporting on implementation.
• Development of and support to a research program and product development, including development of innovative applications of the BOOST methodology.
• Development and implementation of a communication strategy that supports the roll out of BOOST and its applications to support expenditure analysis and fiscal transparency, including web-based tools and social media drawing on the expenditure analysis and data.
• Development and implementation of a capacity building program that supports roll out of the BOOST methodology and applications.
• Review of funding proposals prepared by PREM regional units for country-level activities.
• Participate in country-level activities as necessary to support effective implementation of BOOST and its applications.
• Undertake quality control for all BOOST products, including BOOST activities and products at the country level.
Guide and oversee the work of BOOST implementation unit team members.
