Talent Manager, SABMiller - Tanzania

Talent Management is one of the key strategic enablers driving the SABMiller global agenda. The objective of talent management is to attract, retain and develop motivated employees who deliver high performance and provide succession for the future.

The purpose of this role is to support the development and implementation of the company Talent Management strategy and standards across Tanzania businesses. To understand the talent needs in Tanzania and develop appropriate actions and support plans which can be implemented incountry. To provide TM support, consultancy and guidance to the Line Managers. The role will ensure best practice within the fields of recruitment, assessment and selection as well as organisational career development, which will form the basis of attraction, selection, retention and renewal of human assets in market. The incumbent will actively manage the recruitment of key talent in market and ensure the succession planning of critical positions

This role is also responsible for the Talent Review process in the country including the definition of key action plans for Tanzania and individuals and follow up on the action plans.

Furthermore to position TM as a strategic business partner, change agent, and trusted advisor in understanding business goals, key issues and resource implications. Develop solutions to resolve resourcing issues resulting in contribution to the business.

Desired Skills & Experience

The market is focussed on finding local talent, therefore, this is not an expatriate assignment.

BA in Psychology is a must, combined with Human Resources experience (ideally in a consumer goods company).

Very good written and oral English communication skills is essential and mastery of another relenat African language is desirable.
