COOKS: INDIAN CUISINE

Jindal Africa is a part of the Indian company Jindal Steel and Power Limited (JSPL). Jindal Africa has its corporate office in Johannesburg and it operates a mine near Piet Retief (Mpumalanga). Jindal has its own Guest Houses in both Johannesburg and Piet Retief to accommodate visitors, most of whom are Indian expatriates.

Applicants must: • Be skilled in food preparation, cooking, plating and presentation • Ensure kitchen maintenance and cleanliness • Maintain and order stock and supplies • Be skilled in menu planning • Follow food safety requirements • Be passionate about Indian food and customer service • Be able to train other staff.
