Would you like to help DFID rise to the challenge of reducing world poverty and do all that we can to achieve the Millennium Development Goals?
To increase our capacity to provide international development advice around the developing world DFID wants to recruit a pool of professional advisers to fill vacancies as the programmes expand. We are looking for Senior Advisers and Advisers in the fields of:
Climate and Environment, Conflict, Education, Health, Humanitarian Livelihoods, Social Development and Statistics
We especially welcome applications from specialists in business and the broader private sector, as well as government, non-governmental organisations, universities and think tanks.
Vacancies will be based in our overseas offices and UK headquarters in London and East Kilbride, Scotland. Many vacancies will be in post-conflict and conflict affected countries and you will be required to visit and work in such countries during your first few years of employment with DFID.
