Project Manager, English for Peacekeepers, Indonesia

Based in Jakarta, Indonesia

Salary: GBP £30,000 per annum (paid locally in USD $)

This is an exciting new project which will have significant impact in strengthening UK-Indonesia relations, and supporting Indonesia’s aspirations to develop the capacity of its peacekeeping forces and to expand its support for international peacekeeping operations. Indonesia has expressed a desire to develop a regional centre of excellence for the training of peacekeepers; the UK Defence Attaché and the British Council have responded with the offer of support for the development of an English language training infrastructure within the Indonesian military’s (TNI’s) peacekeeping training centre, PMPP, which is moving to a new facility on the outskirts of Jakarta.

You will have a Dip. TESOL or DELTA, plus experience of working with military or security forces on an ELT project and previous project management experience.
