Position: Reporting, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

Program: USAID/Bangladesh Justice For All

The International Division of the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) is seeking expressions of interest for the position of Reporting, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist for a Justice For All Program funded by USAID in Bangladesh.

The Specialist will serve as a key member of a multi-disciplinary team seeking to improve the delivery of legal aid, increase the efficiency of judicial institutions, and to facilitate public awareness of legal rights and responsibilities. The Specialitst will conduct complex monitoring and evaluation activities, contribute to performance monitoring plan design, gather and organize report inputs, provide qualitive and quantitative analysis, control data quality and prepare timely and accurate reports.

Specific duties: (1) design and implement the Performance Management Plan for the program, (2) conduct client and practitioner baseline and progress evaluations, (3) assist with programmatic and performance reporting, and (4) assist institutional leaders to prepare performance evaluations and reports.

Qualifications


  • Prior experience serving as a Reporting, Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist for development initiatives seeking to increase the efficiency of judicial institutions, improve the accessibility of legal aid services, and raise awareness of legal rights in Bangladesh.
  • In-depth understanding of performance monitoring and evaluation, and reporting.
  • Diplomatic demeanor; problem-solving skills; creativity; and flexibility needed to perform effectively in a politically sensitive work environment.
  • Advanced degree in law or social sciences.
  • Relevant language skills and ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
