Algeria & West Africa Commercial Manager EQUATORIAL COCA-COLA BOTTLING

Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company (ECCBC) looks for a Commercial Manager for Algeria & the West Africa region.
 
Based in Ghana and reporting directly to the Algeria & West Africa General Manager, the Commercial Manager will be have the two main responsibilities. On one side, implementing and identifying integrated consumer and Trade Marketing strategies for the region that meet the evolving consumer needs and ensure achievement of the company’s objectives of profitable volume growth and market share leadership. And on the other side developing and improving the Route-To-Market for the region towards the most effective and efficient way in order to achieve a sustained competitive advantage, from both a strategic and an operational point of view.
 
 
The concrete functions will be:
Within the Marketing Role:
1.Lead development of the annual marketing plan, and supervise the Execution & Monitoring of plan to ensure delivery business objectives.
2.Develop and monitor annual marketing budgets and take all core decisions related to the implementation of planned marketing activities within budget.
3.Monitor and control the departmental operations budget to ensure attainment of objectives within allocated budgets.
4.Analyze trends from market research to monitor the effectiveness of the marketing strategies and initiate interventions to address issues and opportunities identified5.Manage and monitor in market effectiveness of marketing and sales initiatives through implementation of ITMO and RED
 
Within the Route-to-market Role:
1.Define a Route-to-Market policy and strategy  for the AWAC region.
2.Set-up, manage, execute and implement Route-To-Market projects within the AWAC region.
3.Responsible for creating Project Plans, managing project execution including resources & budgets.
4.Leading teams in data collection, tool development and usage.
5.Responsible for analyzing the data and generating conclusions and recommendations for strategic and operational Sales & Distribution choices.
6.Set-up and support Sales Execution improvement programs, tools and materialsSet-up and support Distributor Development programs, tools and materials.

Desired Skills & Experience

We look for a professional with a minimum of 5 to 10 years working experience within the FMCG sector and with professional knowledge and experience in route-to-market and Sales & Channel Management.
Bottler experience or knowledge of  KO operations would be an added advantage.
Native or Proficiency English is a must
