Location: Sri Lanka
Two year contract
£42,000pa + benefits and overseas allowances

This is your opportunity to strengthen the management of public sector human resources in Sri Lanka, at present under-performing owing to underlying weaknesses in the management of the human resource management function.

Working within the Ministry of Public administration, you will be involved in research, development and agreement of a policy to guide reform, expected to address planning, retirement and pensions; performance appraisal and management; compensation; recruitment and selection; and training and career development.

With extensive HR development and management experience gained in the public or governmental sector, you must have in-depth knowledge of the specialisms mentioned, advising senior management and pro-active capacity building.

Applicants must be able to operate effectively in a multi-cultural setting and be a national of a Commonwealth country.
