Donor Clerks ,Tanzania Red Cross Society (TRCS)
The incumbent will work with the regional team in all activities related to Blood Safety program.
Reports to: Region Blood Safety Coordinator
Roles and Responsibilities:
Register and weigh blood donors during the blood collection session ensuring they meet the set criteria for donation
Compile blood donor information in the region.
Prepare summary of relevant reports in collaboration with relevant team members
Liaise with the blood donor recruiter on donor recall messaging
Support team during blood donation.
To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Knowledge
Form IV/VI with Certificate in any related field
Fluent in Kiswahili written and spoken
Computers skills is required
Experience, Skills
Good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities effectively are required.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Ability to work under pressure
Working with blood donation program will be of added advantage
