LECTURER Theology & Religious Studies

Duties: The successful candidate will be required to teach Undergraduate students, supervise research projects, conduct tutorials, provide guidance to students, undertake research and perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements: The candidate must possess (i) at least a Masters’ Degree in Philosophy with specialisation in Metaphysics and African Philosophy; (ii) a Bachelors’ Degree in Philosophy with at least 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent; (iii) show evidence of engagement in research and service; (iv) a relevant PhD, teaching experience in the subject area at a University or comparable institution and demonstration of effective academic leadership will be added advantages (iv) ability to teach courses in the History of Philosophy and Epistemology will be an added advantage.
