Position Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Director of Administration and Finance, the Logistics Officer manages the programmatic and operational logistics of the organization, including but not limited to: participation in programme planning and implementation; technical and operational support to field offices; identification of logistics management best practices; monitoring and evaluation of new initiatives and procedures related to logistics; and design, implementation and management of logistics contracts and supply stockpiles distribution when necessary.

This position is full-time and subject to available funding. There is no minimum period of employment. ASLM may terminate employment at any time due to funding, or for any other lawful reason. Position Qualifications:
Minimum Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, Transport or related field, with five (5) years of progressively responsible professional work experience at national and/or international levels in the field of logistics. Varied supply/logistics functional background an asset, from procurement to warehousing, transport management and distribution to beneficiaries.
- Critical skills for this position include: good knowledge of computer management and applications; the ability to establish harmonious working relations in an international and multicultural environment; and sound analytical and organization skills.
