About the Organization:
MEDA Maroc is a Moroccan NGO that seeks to encourage and promote the integration of youth into the work force. It is currently undertaking a project centred on training the employees of several financial institutions in Morocco to help them develop and incorporate a youth-centered axe in their service strategy.
About the Job:
MEDA Maroc is looking for a Microfinance Trainer to fill this position, based in Casablanca, Morocco. S/he will execute the training and ensure that the module meets all of the operational and organizational objectives. S/he will work under the supervision of the director of MEDA Maroc.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
•Assist in developing or modifying the training material as necessary;
•Lead the training sessions for the employees of the financial institutions;
•Prepare timely reports detailing the progress of the training towards achieving outlined objectives and assist in creating documents for stakeholders as needed;
•Participate in the organization and the sitting of meetings related to the implementation of the project and the preparation of the progress reports;
•Organize and manage all the activities related to the project;
•Manage partnerships with stakeholders;
•Work with the financial institutions in developing a financial product.
Qualifications:
•Should be a B.A. or B.Sc.;
•Minimum 5 years of experience in banking sector, microfinance, or project management (in an MFI);
•Excellent organizational skills;
•Experience in administering training modules to adults;
•Research experience in the domain of microfinance or sociology;
•Fluency in French, knowledge of English is an asset.
