EUROCHAMBRES is the European Association of Chambers of Commerce and Industry, representing the interests of 2000 Chambers and their 20 million business members across 45 countries and all sectors of the economy (for more information: www.eurochambres.eu). 

EUROCHAMBRES is currently seeking to recruit a full-time (m/f) Project Coordinator to enhance its European Affairs Department and join its dynamic, international team.

Responsibilities:

  • Management of an EU funded project under the guidance and supervision of a Senior Advisor;
  • Liaison with the European Commission’s responsible services;
  • Day-to-day support to multiple project partners via written and face-to-face communication;
  • Monitoring of the performance of the project partners;
  • Organisation of events;
  • Updating the project website content and other social media;
  • Drafting texts for newsletters, internal guidance material, external promotion, etc.;
  • Carrying out studies and surveys for the project;
  • Project reporting and financial management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in EU project management;
  • Sound understanding of EU internal market and SME policies/measures;
  • Experience in working with companies and business support organisations and/or in European Affairs;
  • Excellent English (spoken and written) and good knowledge of at least one other European language;
  • Strong organisational capacity and the ability to multi-task;
  • Ability to work both in a team and autonomously;
  • Excellent written and communication skills and flair for promotion;
  • Ability to appreciate and follow priorities;
  • Innovative and creative capacity;
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office and other tools (word, outlook, excel, powerpoint, internet).
