Job Description:
Responsible for the operational management of the child protection project under the direct supervision of the Delegate, including coordination with the logistics and administration department and the training department.
Responsible for the management, recruitment, supervision, support, training and performance appraisal of the 6 project staff
Responsible to represent Tdh professionally while carrying out his/her duties and liaise with relevant partners and stakeholders.
Responsible for the achievement of the objectives of the project using PCM approach and participatory approaches. The project includes relief items distribution, social work and recreational activities.
Ensures, promotes and facilitates that the principles of child protection and child participation are integrated into all project activities and communication with project staff, children and communities targeted by the project.
Ensures a strict adherence to Tdh Child Protection Policy at all times, including respect for confidentiality and child centred approach, acts in the best interests of the child.
Requested: Experience in project management and PCM, Staff management skills, Very good knowledge of development/humanitarian actors in Palestinian and Lebanese contexts, Strong networking capacities, Driving license, Computer and communication skills
Experience required: 5 to 10 years
Education degree: Bachelor Degree
Field of education: Social work / child protection / humanitarian experience and background
Languages: Arabic: Fluent; English: Excellent
Period: based on project, minimum 6 months, renewable
