As a Sales Engineer, you will responsible for growing and supporting Pivot3’s growing business in Mexico. As Sales Engineer, it is important to be multi-faceted in order to enjoy the challenges of developing a new territory. Using your technical and troubleshooting skills, you will support customers and integrators in a post-sales role. This also requires excellent problem-solving and technical clarity in communications with all customers. You will be involved directly with customer’s post purchase for support of product installation and support calls.

- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and partners.
- Developing and maintaining extensive working knowledge of Pivot3’s software and hardware requirements
- Conducting in-depth product demonstrations and presentations.
- Supporting the sales team; responding to RFP’s, creating configurations / quotes for customers.
- Attending and/or participating in trade shows, exhibitions and seminars.
- Configuring and implementing solutions, internally and at partner sites and internally
- Writing spec’s and communicating with Engineering and Product Management groups
- Configuring and implementing solutions, internally and at partner sites
Desired Skills & Experience
Important skills we are looking for:- Present and demonstrate skills (in-person and via webinar) to both technical and business unit management audiences.
- Strong written communication skills for RFP responses and participation in proposal writing.
- Demonstrates strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Services customers while truly enjoying building the business. Assist in training customers, partners, and integrators
- Demonstrates innovative ideas and positive “can-do” behavior
- Demonstrates extensive working knowledge of storage technologies
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences or Computer Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Ability to travel within Mexico 75% of the time
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in sales engineering for an IT company, preferably in the Storage industry
- Working knowledge of storage technologies- networking equipment configuration and troubleshooting, server operator systems and networking principles
- VMWare VCP Certification (vSphere 5 preferred)
- MCSE and/or Cisco certification
