Duties: The successful candidates will be expected to (i) spend time in the Department prior to their training in order to observe and learn Departmental functions; (ii) conduct tutorials in Law courses; (iii) assist in all academic activities of the Department including research; (iv) work closely with staff members (in teaching and other administrative duties) and prepare for future training areas of professionalisation; (v) proceed and take the following subjects at Masters level: Health Law, Jurisprudence, Criminal Law, Social Security and Delict or Tax Law, International and Investment Law, Intellectual Property and Competition Law; (vi) teach Undergraduate and Graduate level Courses after completion of studies. (vii) perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Head of Department. Requirements: Candidates should: (i) have a Bachelors’ Degree in Law (LLB) with at least a 2(i) pass/ GPA of at least 3.6 or equivalent from a recognized institution; (ii) be prepared to go for further studies in the areas listed above.
