ACDI/VOCA Deputy Chief of Party, Jordan

Deputy Chief of Party, Jordan We are currently seeking Deputy Chief of Party (DCOP) candidates for an upcoming five-year USAID project based in Amman, Jordan, focused on increasing the country’s competitiveness through an improved business enabling environment, workforce development, and access to finance for the ICT, medical services and health sciences, and clean technology sectors. The position is contingent upon ACDI/VOCA being awarded the program. Jordanian candidates encouraged to apply.

Duties and Responsibilities • Assist the Chief of Party in providing overall technical leadership and administrative supervision for large, multidisciplinary economic growth project • Assist in the design and implementation of project interventions • Serve as a liaison with USAID, ensuring timely reporting, monitoring and communication • Provide effective communication – through presentations and various media – in support of project activities to numerous stakeholders and project participants • Supervise project staff as assigned • Ensure project compliance oversight and quality assurance for project technical and administration activities • Coordinate the preparation and submission of reports as required by USAID and ACDI/VOCA

Experience and Qualifications • Master’s degree in business or public administration required • Ten years’ progressive project management experience, USAID experience strongly preferred • Demonstrated and positively referenced experience working on multidisciplinary, multisectoral private sector economic growth projects and initiatives • Excellent English-language written and oral communication skills required • Arabic fluency required
