Adviser to the Chairman


The European Savings Bank Group (ESBG) and World Savings Banks Institute (WSBI) are
looking for the (m/f):
Adviser to the Chairman
The job involves the following responsibilities:
  • Planning, organisation, coordination and reporting of the meetings of WSBI-ESBG statutory and advisory bodies;
  • Drafting of working documents, speeches, articles;
  • Close contact with the member organisations in Europe and worldwide, including travelling to meetings in the members’ countries;
  • Assistance in developing contacts with potential members with the regional teams;
  • Pro-active support to the Chairman in the management of the Joint Office and his day-to-day commitments; 
  • Other projects assigned by the Chairman on an ad-hoc basis.
Profile:
  • University graduate in economics, finance, law, international studies or related topics;
  • Perfect English (working language English), good knowledge of German and French, other EU language an asset;
  • Relevant work experience of at least 5 years;
  • Good knowledge of, and affinity with, the banking and financial sector;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in a multi-cultural environment;
  • Flexibility, sense of initiative, team spirit, ability to work independently, discretion;
  • Good writing and computer skills.
