UNDERGROUND ELECTRICIAN TM3

An N2 and relevant trade certificate, 2 years’ experience in the trade in a Trackless Department and High Tension Certificates are needed here, with an N3 and auto-electrical experience proving advantageous.

Duties and responsibilities include: • Repairing breakdowns as they occur and assisting with expansions and construction of new equipment installations • Promoting and developing teamwork to become an effective team leader • Ensuring the health and safety of self and fellow colleagues by applying safety standards and procedures in all planning and execution of maintenance activities.

Candidates must be declared medically fit for the position and the environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the relevant Gold Fields Occupational Health and Safety Centre, and must pass a Heat Tolerance Screening Test.
