To help maintain our continued growth, we are looking for an experienced specialist in conducting electronic surveys and / or qualitative and quantitative data analysis.  This may either be a full or part time appointment.
Speciafically you would:

• Provide guidance on socio-economic research techniques, including technical advice and methodological consultation to project managers on survey and questionnaire design
• Assist in setting up stakeholder consultations, including interviews and online surveys
• Participate and provide guidance in analysis & interpretation of survey and interview results
• Help to establish best practices and help develop our internal capabilities
• Aid proposal development contributing to our methodology sections

Requirements:

• A university degree in statistics or social sciences or a related field
• Previous experience in on-line survey research, stakeholder consultations or related field
• Knowledge of the principles, processes, and methods of survey research
• General familiarity with social science research and policy issues
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and adapt quickly to changes under pressure,  manage multiple priorities and meticulous attention to detail
• Good computer skills – excellent Excel / Access – knowledge & experience of survey software and packages for statistical analysis l
• Knowledge of routine sampling and statistical weighting procedures
• Knowledge & experience of data visualisation techniques an advantage
• Excellent work & communication skills in English
