The Three Millennium Development Goals Fund - Myanmar
UNOPS helps its partners in the United Nations system meet the world’s needs for building peace, recovering from disaster and creating sustainable development. UNOPS is known for its ability to implement complex projects in all types of environments around the globe.

UNOPS is Fund Manager for the Three Millennium Development Goals Fund (3MDG Fund), a multi-donor fund of an estimated US$300 million in the period of 2012-16. The overarching goal of the 3MDG Fund is to contribute to national progress towards the health MDGs through a rights-based approach. It represents a fundamental shift in terms of engagement with the new Government. It will focus on maternal, new-born and child health, the three diseases HIV, Tuberculosis and Malaria as well as health systems strengthening.

UNOPS seeks a highly qualified candidate to lead the 3MDG Fund Management Office based at UNOPS Myanmar’s country office in Yangon.
