Member Support Coordinator for Coffee and Tea
The Member and Program Support Team is the first point of contact for prospects, members (retailers, manufacturers , traders) and suppliers (roasters, packers, traders, importers) for a variety of questions ranging from the traceability system to certification to labeling.
Our European coffee and tea partners are your key focus. You will support them in the understanding and implementation of certification and traceability requirements. Your activities are broad and include implementing the Tracer, supporting regional sales with presentations, coordinating and giving online workshops on UTZ and coordinating UTZ’s participation in international events.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answering questions on certification, traceability and marketing to your customer’s satisfaction
  • Coordination of participation in international (trade) events and conferences
  • Support the sales team
You report to the Member Support Team Manager.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor degree in International Business, Development Studies or related
  • 2 years of experience in account management, sales, client services and project management
  • Experience in the food industry, affinity with agricultural production, sustainability, coffee and tea are a plus
  • Fluency in spoken and written English, French and German
  • Highly organized, able to work under time pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Service oriented, pragmatic, operational focus, self-starting and strong self-management skills
  • Strong eye for detail, yet able to see the bigger picture
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
