Assessments: Assessments will take place across the end of January and throughout February 2014.
 
The Finance programme is aimed at developing our Finance Professionals for the future.
 
It is a 3 year programme, which will train and develop graduates that have both an interest in and an aptitude for a career in Finance.
 
Finance sits at the heart of the organisation, impacting every other department and helping us deliver our strategy and vision. This BA Finance Graduate Programme is designed to equip you with a complete range of financial and management capabilities, growing you from a talented graduate into a senior finance leader of the future.
 
The speed at which our business moves means our needs can change from year to year. That means you need to be intelligent and have the enthusiasm, drive and flexibility to learn about our business so you can adapt to change as challenges arise.
 
The Programme 
 
Finance plays a pivotal role for us throughout British Airways, reflected in the variety of placements we offer. This programme offers your three one-year placements with high levels of responsibility and accountability developing your technical financial skills, management and general business understanding. Roles very from Group Finance positions such as Group Reporting and Treasury to line finance positions where the focus is on supporting global operation, strategic and commercial areas of the business.
 
In addition to the skills and knowledge that you will develop, you will also have an excellent study package to support you while you gain your professional CIMA, ACA (ICAEW) or ACCA qualifications.. You’ll be encouraged and supported to achieve your full potential, which is evident from the senior positions that past graduates have gone on to fulfil within our finance organisation.

Requirements

  • Graduate with, or predicted to have, a minimum 2:1 degree in any discipline
  • Highly numerate
  • A genuine desire to have a career in Finance
  • Must have the right to live and work full time in the UK

Application Process

To apply, you will need to successfully complete a series of online questions. These questions form part of the selection process and your responses will be assessed. This includes the following questions (please note the system has a time-out security setting so we advise you prepare these offline before submitting).

If successful at the application stage you will then be invited to take part in further assessments, the details of which will be provided to you.
 
The face to face assessments will be held at Waterside, our head office near Heathrow.
 
Once assessments have been completed, we will make offers subject to references, confirmation of qualifications and medical requirements. We anticipate that the programme will start in September 2014.
