Vacancy Description:

You'll learn and develop the specialist skills our clients look for and value most.
As a senior Associate in Consulting Risk, you will have the opportunity to work with clients ranging from global investment and retail banks, to insurance and FTSE 100 companies. We help our clients to manage and improve their:
  • Valuation and Risk Models
  • Portfolio Market and Counterparty Tools
  • Portfolio Optimisation Techniques
  • Overall Risk Strategy
As such, the type of work we undertake covers:
  • Review of existing pricing models methodologies
  • Independent pricing and risks models validation
  • Review of economic capital and risk/return models
As part of the Risk Consulting graduate programme you will undertake a blended learning programme involving gaining knowledge of the industry and market, self-development and awareness, and the development of communication, business and team-working skills.
Who is this vacancy for?
You will ideally have a PhD in a highly numerate discipline such as:
  • Mathematics
  • Physics
  • Control Engineering
  • Computer Sciences
You will also possess a good academic record, and relevant practical experience of applying your technical knowledge, as well as having used your initiative and team-working skills during university.
Academic Requirements
A minimum of 340 UCAS points (A,A,B at A level or equivalent). You must have a PhD, a 2.1 in your degree and a masters in one of the technical areas listed above.
