Vacancy Description:

Your rolePwC is looking for dynamic individuals to work as Project Support Associates for the Deals Strategy team, part of the Transaction Services practice.
Your role will be as a key part of the support team, based in Northern Ireland, and working closely with the London-based team to deliver project work.
The type of work you will be involved inProject Support Associates will get involved in many different tasks, supporting and working alongside our Deals Strategy project teams in London. You will learn about all aspects of a deal and you will be given responsibility for delivering tasks and producing client-facing work. Your specific role will be to work closely with the project teams in London, acting as a support function to produce analysis required for client engagements.
Example tasks could include:
  • Market sizing
  • Market segmentation
  • Market penetration analysis
  • Company positioning and business overview
  • Competitor benchmarking, insights and snapshots
  • Customer segmentation
  • Strategic assessments and market positioning
What you can expectIn Transaction Services, you'll join a team that helps support clients in the fast-paced Mergers & Acquisitions sector, advising throughout the deal cycle from upfront planning and deal execution to post-deal support.
You will be working on high profile transactions, working with some of the biggest corporate and private equity houses.
Our Transaction Services practice is a market leader, advising on some of the largest, high profile and complex cross-border deals, which means there is extensive opportunity to learn and develop new skills and work across different industries.
In addition, you'll get plenty of on-the-job experience for developing your skills alongside a range of training courses to develop your capabilities further.
The longer term opportunitiesThe role offers the chance for unparalleled experience and insight into the M&A sector. The role will potentially provide the foundation to move to other business units within PwC or into roles outside of the firm armed with an in-depth experience of business and strategic analysis as well as developed commercial awareness and interpersonal skills. Key things to noteThis role is not part of the standard graduate strategy consulting route. It is a Deals Strategy-specific role to support the London-based Deals Strategy team.
This role may involve travel and the need to stay away from home, as determined on a project-by-project basis.
Who is this vacancy for?

Academic requirementsA minimum of 300 UCAS points (24 using the old tariff) and be on course for at least a 2.1 result from your degree

The minimum requirements for each role are set out in the UK Border Agency Immigration Standard Occupation Classification ("SOC") codes and this includes minimum salary requirements.
For this role PwC cannot sponsor under the Tier 2 Skilled Worker category because the UK Border Agency's eligibility requirements cannot be met.
