Program Monitoring Officer

The Program Monitoring Officer is responsible for managing the organization’s programmatic data process, which includes liaising with Country Offices to manage the schedule of ongoing data collection, providing data quality control, and ensuring data is entered and/or imported into organizational database in a timely manner for internal and external programmatic data use. A major component of the position is to provide ongoing IT support for the implementation of electronic data collection.
Data Management
  • Manage the schedule of data collection in eight Country Offices against enrollment, graduation, and graduate follow-up plans, working closely with Country Office staff and M&E team
  • Oversee data entry or electronic data synchronization progress for programmatic data collection, working closely with data entry associates, off-site vendor, and Sponsorship Operations
  • Conduct data quality assurance checks to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Monitor data entry efficiency using metrics and standard processes
Enrollment Planning and Tracking
  • Generate and distribute monthly delivery lists and supporting documents to Country Offices
  • Manage enrollment summary approval process
  • Track actual enrollments against targets, working closely with Country Offices, Global Programs Unit, and Sponsorship Operations
Electronic Data Collection
  • Support M&E in implementation of electronic data collection process in Country Offices
  • Provide ongoing technical support to Country Offices in software and hardware issues involving electronic data collection
  • Liaise with electronic platform vendor to meet organizational data needs
Administrative Support
  • Manage storage and archiving of paper and electronic forms
  • Process invoices with appropriate coding based on budget
Qualifications
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree (required) or an advanced degree (preferred)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Reliable and able to work within strict deadlines on a monthly basis
  • Able to work effectively between departments and with different stakeholders internally and externally
  • A commitment to Women for Women International’s mission and vision
  • 2-4 years of experience in data management, including managing large data collection efforts and implementing data quality controls
  • Skilled in using data management softwares, e.g., SQL
  • Experience conducting data analysis of large datasets using statistical softwares, e.g., SPSS, Stata
  • Proficient in manipulating large datasets and building macros in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of M&E concepts and process
  • Willing to travel internationally to challenging environments
