Position Summary

 
This position will be responsible to lead the Indirect Procurement Category as well as to support Contracts and Procurement function, through: systems integrity, continuous business processes improvement, to include auditing and reporting.

Key Accountabilities

 Implementation of overall C&P strategy for "Indirect" procurement i.e. HSSE, IT, HR, PCA, Admin.
Responsible for the full sourcing process including revision of scope, supplier selection, commercial negotiation and contract execution. 
Manage sourcing processes, from requisition to payment, including roles and responsibilities of stakeholders.
Serve as a full partner to the business in evaluating and challenging the status quo to maximize value opportunities.
Coordinate and lead negotiations; help stakeholders understand tradeoffs and benefits of negotiation strategies/outcomes.
 Manage contract initiation process as well as management of finished contracts into company tools.
Quantify and report both identified and implemented sourcing project results.
When performance issues emerge, identify root causes and drive for efficient resolution of issues by working across both internal and external stakeholders.
Prioritize workload based on business needs.
Responsible for the integrity of the Asset database in the C&P systems (SAP, Procon, Performis)
Responsible for regular reporting on Asset C&P performance/workload/results
Support all C&P related processes and activities are in compliance with Group Business principles,standards, policies and procedures.
Support alignment with and introduction of global systems /tools / techniques / best practices / strategic developments, including any new requirements following approval of new C&P strategy.
Support C&P systems support is provided throughout the asset. (SAP, Procon, Performis).
 Providing support (resources, training, guidance information,reports) to the C&P professionals, contract owners and stakeholders to improve process efficiency and contract management; to highlight good practices where they exist and raise concerns where they do not and provide recommendations where behaviors, processes need to be modified/ improved.
Ensuring the integrity of the C&P process is maintained and can be demonstrated at all times.
Coach and mentor junior C&P staff

Unique Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Attribute

Indirect procurement and systems experience.
Good working knowledge and relevant C&P work experience.
Good management skills. Able to work under pressure.
Understanding supply chain issues, and knowledge of the local contractor/supplier base capabilities.
 
Self-starter and self-motivated.
 
 Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management
 
Strong interpersonal, leadership and influencing skills.
Strong Negotiation, financial, quantitative, and analytical skills
Knowledge of SAP systems
Knowledge of MS Office package
 
Fluent in English and Portuguese
 
Ability to work in a change/continuous improvement environment
