About BiD Network

BiD Network's mission is to contribute to sustainable economic growth in emerging countries through entrepreneurship. We prepare entrepreneurs for finance and match Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) with investors. BiD Network focuses on high growth businesses based in developing countries with a financing need of US$10,000 to US$5,000,000 over the next five years. We provide professional services to entrepreneurs, investors and business centers.

Impact Survey Volunteer

BiD Network is looking for a volunteer to support the organization in surveying entrepreneurs with the purpose of impact measurement. We are looking for someone who is interested in surveying around 300 entrepreneurs who submitted a complete business plan in 2012 to learn more about the current status of their business and about how services contribute to the growth or start of their businesses; and in verifying respondents. We estimate that it will take 2-3 full time months to complete this assignment.

Skills and competences

* Good communication skills (particularly speaking)

* Fluent in Spanish and English and preferably also French

* Accurate in administration of responses

* Good understanding of Excel.

The person should be available to volunteer at our office in Amsterdam. We offer a great learning experience within an international business environment.
