Residential Counselor II - DD Services
Provide direct care in a residential program serving adults with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges. Ensure the individuals stability, safety, health promotion and maintenance, as well as acquisition of community living skills. Accompany clients on appointments and community outings. Implement behavioral treatment plans. Work collaboratively with other treatment providers, family, and guardians to maximize each person's dignity and quality of life. Provide crisis intervention and routine medication administration. Assist House Manager and/or Program Coordinator in designated administrative tasks.
Qualifications: BA in related field preferred. Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities. Valid driver's license is required. First Aid, CPR and MAP certification within three months of hire required.
