Entrepreneurial Finance Lab (EFL) is a financial-services company that creates technologies to measure risk in micro, small, and medium size enterprises. It helps banks across Latin America, Africa, and Asia to expand their SME portfolio and improve control over risk. EFL helps banks safely lend to entrepreneurs throughout the world.
About the Job: 
EFL is seeking an Account Manager - Latin America. S/he will be responsible for the success of financial institution partners as they implement organization's cutting tools in the micro/small business and consumer lending sectors.
Tasks and Responsibilities: 
  • In-field product delivery - manage relationships with financial institutions:
    • Work with the organization's Latin America team to prepare implementation for Latin American clients;
    • Work with the organization's global product team to implement organization tools at banks in Latin America and potentially beyond (Latin America, Africa, and Asia);
    • Train client staff and field questions about how to administer the organization's application;
    • Troubleshoot all areas from lack of internet connectivity to creating documentation for basic processes;
    • Build relationships at all levels with our clients from branch-level staff to executives;
    • Evaluate outcomes of organization’s tools and devise strategies to increase lending;
    • Guarantee the quality of the administration of the organization's application.
  • Innovate and contribute – help organization in marketing, sales, and strategic process improvement:
    • Support and participate in business development with major financial institutions in the region;
    • Improve organization’s implementation processes to help the company scale;
    • Participate in diverse facets of a growth-stage company expanding globally.
Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor's degree required. Advanced degree (MBA, relevant Master’s degree) desirable;
  • About 2 years of banking or consulting experience;
  • Interest and experience in emerging markets;
  • Total fluency in Spanish and English. Proficiency in Portuguese is a plus.
