HR Database Administrator

The HR Database Administrator serves as a liaison between the Human Resources (HR), Information Technology (IT) and One Corporate System (OCS) teams to provide system support and analysis and to leverage technology solution to meet the needs of the HR division and users of HR Information systems throughout the organization.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Assists management in identifying and analyzing options and recommends business process enhancements
  • Assists HR division staff at HQ and in country offices with technical issues related to the use of HR related functions in OCS systems
  • Assists HR division staff at HQ and in country offices in the creation of more difficult queries to select and compile information from the OCS system as needed
  • Identifies, tracks, monitors and communicates on project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that occur
  • Creates test scenarios and assists project team members in performing tests to ensure all processes work according to predetermined goals
  • Participates in OCS Status meetings for identification and resolution of issues and consideration and evaluation of potential system enhancements and upgrades
  • Assists HR team members with technical issues related to the OCS system by investigating problems and developing detailed suggestions for resolution of issues
 
 
Skills and Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • 3-5 years of HRIS or HR generalist or specialist experience
  • Strong understanding of HR processes, data and procedures in order to ensure correct implementation
  • Strong understanding of HRMS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow complex oral and written instructions
  • Knowledge of and experience in utilizing and creating databases and spreadsheets
  • Ability to solve problems related to computer system software and operations
  • Considerable related experience in Human Resources systems analysis and computer systems applications
  • Exposure and understanding of compliance related to the HRIS function
  • Experience in managing and executing test plans, with demonstrated ability to plan, prepare, and execute testing activities such as user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
