Description:

International Resources Group (IRG), a wholly owned subsidiary of Engility Corporation seeks a Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist to design and manage M&E and information systems for an upcoming USAID Feed the Future project focused on targeted agricultural value chain development in the Eastern Congo region. The Specialist will ensure that all activities are in line with the Agency Learning, Evaluation and Research policy ensuring that impact reporting includes cost/benefit analysis of interventions. S/he will oversee data collection efforts and ensure both the M&E system and results reporting meet the requirements of the Feed the Future initiative. S/he will lead a system for continuous communication with the two established external evaluation partners, and demonstrate an ability to take critical inputs, feedback, and assessments from evaluation partners to inform changes in program approaches and scale-up. S/he will ensure that all program components are results-oriented. S/he will have a major focus on achieving results in all areas assuring that team members are poised to deliver services on schedule. Position is subject to successful award of the project.

Required Qualifications:

  • At least a Master’s degree in business, economics, statistics, international development, or related field
  • At least 7 years’ technical experience in developing and implementing monitoring and evaluation plans and results based management
  • Must demonstrate at least 3 years’ work experience in developing countries
  • Experience with Feed the Future indicators preferred
  • Experience working in DRC or the region highly preferred
  • Excellent oral and written English and French language communication skills
