Internship - Administrative and Project Assistant

  • Starting date Second half of October
  • Internship duration  3 months with a possibility of extension
Context
The European Agency for Special Needs and Inclusive Education is an independent and self-governing organisation established by our member countries to act as their platform for collaboration regarding the development of provision for learners with special needs. The Agency’s Secretariat is based in Denmark but the Administrative and Project assistant will work at the Agency’s Brussels Office.
The position
  • Administrative (60%) and Project (40%) assistant
The Administrative and Project assistant’s tasks will include practical organisation of Agency meetings and conferences in Brussels as well as the day-to-day administrative tasks carried out by the Brussels Office. The position will also involve assisting Project Managers conducting Agency projects.
Position requirements
  • Good knowledge of day-to-day administrative office tasks;
  • Extensive organisation skills with an eye for detail;
  • Experience in planning and organising meetings;
  • Excellent level of English;
  • Very good communication skills;
  • Excellent IT-skills (Word, Excel, Internet, etc.);
  • Knowledge of French and/or Dutch is desirable;

  • Interest in social and educational issues;
  • Ability to work in stressful conditions;
  • Excellent capacity for team-work;
  • Willingness to work in an international environment.
