Job Purpose

To plan the most economical Crew Roster for the specific roster period within the Company and Regulatory guidelines. To meet the Airline’s objective to legally cover all the flying routes with qualified crew, assign leave, for all Cabin Crew.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:
  • Responsible and accountable for identifying safety risks in accordance with risk assessment process, and ensure that adequate risk mitigation steps are appropriately in place to ascertain safety within the workplace.
  • Create and maintain a level of confidence to accurately administer all aspects of producing legal rosters to achieve quality/robustness/cost effective solutions while respecting the complexities of the GCAA rules and regulations
  • Responsible and accountable for all Cabin Crew’s Annual Leave assignments, outstanding leave assignments, reconciliation with the Crew Management software system to ensure 100% accuracy for each individual cabin crew member.
  • Ability to balance the equation of the company’s objectives for cost control and proper analysis of crew resource management.
  • Creating and analyzing “what if” scenarios for crew route costing/cabin crew manpower planning forecasts.
Requirements
High School Diploma, preferred University or College completion and Computer Literate (Windows 2000 office.) A minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant Airline crew scheduling / planning experience. Preferably with supervisory experience or past experience in an airline planning department.
In addition to above; you are required to have the following:
  • Trained in Crew Resource Management IT Crewing systems.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Airline Crew Planning logistics
  • Civil Aviation rule sets (CAR-OPS, CAP371, and other FTL schemes)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High computer literacy
