Compensation and Benefits Sr. Analyst

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Ensures WVI Compensation and Benefit plans are in line with P&C goals by evaluating and keeping current with employee needs, Benefit trends, products, programs and related regulations on an on-going, basis to create a competitive Total Rewards program



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Provide research, analysis and make recommendations for the development and modification of Compensation and Benefits policies to ensure that programs are current, competitive, in line with P&C goals and in compliance with legal requirements;
    • Initiate the design and development of tools to assist with the tracking, analysis and compliance of employee Benefit and compensation programs relating to external and internal requirements. (Financial analysis of Benefits, relevant government requirements, e.g. FLSA, Intermediate Sanctions, Safe Harbor, HIPPA);
    • Analyses participation and utilization for all Benefits on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis;
    • Analyses Benefits experience for cost-control and risk-assessment factors. Uses data to monitor trends and recommend educational initiatives, Benefit plan changes, vendor changes, cost-sharing, etc;
    • Maintains knowledge of and analyzes government regulations, Benefit program trends, and prevailing practices among similar organizations. Ensures compliance of Benefits administration with federal and state laws, including IRS and Department of Labor regulations.;
    • Engage with second level Compensation and Benefit inquiries and provide resolutions in line with P&C culture, policies and practice;

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
      REQUIRED:
    • 5 + Years Comp & Benefits Experience;
    • International Experience Highly Regarded;
    • Proven experience as a team player;
    • Demonstrated collaboration skills;
    • Ability to work autonomously;
    • Proven project management skills;
    • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office computer programs including Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
    • Interest in issues relating to developing world countries;
    • Demonstrated initiative and problem solving skills;
    • Understanding of HAY job evaluation;
    • Good presentation and communication skills for a number of different audiences;
    • Demonstrated commitment to World Vision values and philosophy, and capacity to engage with the broader community in living these values;
    • Some level of travel may be expected ;
    • Flexibility in work hours to enable global teleconference meetings;

      PREFERRED:
    • Bachelors level degree in related field and/or commensurate experience
