Diversity Unit Internship Opportunity

We are able to offer an internship opportunity in the British Council's Diversity Unit. The British Council is the UK's principal cultural relations organisation with programmes that focus on the arts, education and society and English. The Diversity Unit is a small team that leads the British Council's equality and diversity work across offices in 110 countries and territories based in London.

The internship opportunity will provide experience of a range of equality and diversity work in an international context. It will entail a wide range of administrative and support tasks, research activity and the opportunity to contribute to specific projects. There will be good attention to learning and development needs. The internship is modestly remunerated and is for approximately 3 - 6 months.

We are a very small team so candidates need to be highly organised, have the ability to prioritise and quickly get to grips with tasks and progress them. A demonstrable and active interest in equality and diversity issues and the ability to fully and flexibly participate as part of a small core team is important.

If this is something you are interested in please fill in the attached form (and attach optional CV) and send it to: Rabbhi.Yahiya@britishcouncil.org
