Intern, US-India Policy Studies

About CSIS, our internships, and the Wadhwani Chair in US-India Policy Studies:

At a time of new global opportunities and challenges, the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) provides strategic insights and policy solutions to decision makers in government, international institutions, the private sector, and civil society. A bipartisan, nonprofit organization headquartered in Washington, DC, CSIS conducts research and analysis and develops policy initiatives that look into the future and anticipate change.

CSIS is seeking candidates for a spring internship (March-May) with the Wadhwani Chair in US-India Policy Studies. We are currently accepting applications from undergraduates, advanced students, and recent graduates who are interested in gaining practical experience in public policy.

The Wadhwani Chair in US-India Policy Studies, established in January 2011, aims to unlock the full potential of the U.S.-India relationship for the twenty-first century. The Chair serves as an independent platform in Washington to assess major policies and strategic issues in South Asia, and initiate and pursue policy changes to strengthen U.S.-India ties. Ambassador Karl F. Inderfurth serves as the inaugural Wadhwani Chair in U.S.-India Policy Studies at CSIS.
