Mobile Application Developer for Open Source/Security Applications
Development, documentation, and maintenance of cutting edge mobile applications on various mobile device platforms for human rights defenders and journalists. Strong emphasis on secure communications.
You will be working with a small, agile team. Interest and experience in working on multiple platforms is a strong plus.
All code is open source - a real opportunity to make a difference in the world while producing cutting-edge code.
Requirements:
A minimum of 2-5 years development experience in developing mobile applications.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or the equivalent work experience.
Strong experience in mobile security/crypto application development.
Ability to solve complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.
Experience developing apps for Android, other platforms a plus.
Familiarity with the Android SDK and Android development tools.
Familiarity with revision control software.
Excellent communication skills, experience and willingness to work in a small, agile team.
