Region Marketing & Commercial Director China

Position Overview:

• Formulate and develop regional marketing & commercial strategy in line with the company strategy.
• Lead the region marketing & commercial team to develop & implement regional marketing and commercial programs to increase brand equity and drive profitable volume for identified brands.
• Provide leadership & manage relationships with operational & bottler teams to ensure excellent execution of marketing and commercial programs.

Job grade: incumbent graded

Key Results Areas:
Regional marketing strategy development: (20%)
• Identify consumer insights and opportunities to create brand linkages for local markets, and translate those consumer insights into local relevant consumer activations.
• Responsible for annual marketing plan development
• Develop business health analysis to keep system informed on key issues & opportunities thru monthly category analysis and monthly competitor activities monitoring

Regional commercial strategy development: (20%)
• Identify shopper insights and opportunities to identify OBPPC strategy for region and each of the markets
• Responsible for annual commercial plan development
• Develop channel/commercial health analysis to keep system informed on key issues & opportunities thru monthly commercial analysis and monthly competitor activities monitoring

Brand & Commercial Management (25%)
• Liaising with Division marketing and commercial team for brand strategy / commercial strategy development and ensuring local marketing & commercial strategy/plans are in accordance with each national strategy
• Lead the plan developing, execution, monitoring and review of aligned marketing calendar to enhance brand equity, OBPPC development and accelerate growth of key brands & packs
• Devise tracking and review system and cascade learning through various internal communication
.
Cross function communication & collaboration: (20%)
• Demonstrate project ownership and establish a smooth & healthy relationship with Division Marketing, Division Commercial, and Region Operation, Bottler Marketing, Bottler Commercial, Sales Operations and other functions for high quality activation execution in market.
• Thoroughly understand the channel and key account strategies to ensure the promotion calendar fit into customer management goals
• Support Region Operation local marketing & commercial program development
• Establishing a process of seeking and rollout of best practices. (industry, other regions, bottlers)

Development of a high performance team through training & coaching (10%)

 Actively work & train the key team members to guide & coach them to take appropriate course of action.

Agency management: (5%)
• Manage the quality and efficiency of advertising, promotion and event agencies for creative, innovative and high quality activation

Ensuring that CCCBL trademarks are used in accordance with polices.

DME management:
Drive DME efficiency thru consistent monitoring & review

Knowledge & Experience:
Relevant experience of 6-10 years in multinational FMCG companies in managing role


Education & Professional Qualification:
Bachelor degree or above, MBA preferable


Language Requirements:
Excellent written and oral English & Chinese skills


Travel Requirements:
Travel 50% of work time under normal conditions
