We are seeking to recruit a:

Chair of National Board - Tanzania

Capitalising on the launch of our brand and the launch of our new 5-year national strategy (2011 – 2015), Restless Development Tanzania is taking up a position as the national banner carrier for youth-led development – demonstrating at the grassroots and policy levels that young people can and must play a leading role in development.

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate individual who believes in the values and mission of Restless Development Tanzania, and who has the time and energy to commit to this important role.

This role will work closely with the Director of Restless Development Tanzania to bring on board diverse new board members who will provide their expertise, time, energy and networks to ensure we are a well positioned, sustainable and accountable agency in Tanzania.

Programme Coordinator - Ruvuma

We are entering an ambitious new strategic plan from 2011-2015 focused in the areas of sexual reproductive health and rights, livelihoods and employment, and civic participation. We are looking for a talented and experienced programme coordinator to manage our regional programme in Ruvuma. Working with rural communities, young people and local stakeholders throughout the region, your role will be to oversee our youth led programme delivered through national and community volunteering in the goal areas, and ensuring integration of policy monitoring and advocacy, youth sector coordination and partnerships, and sharing of good practice across all our projects.

This is a key position within our programmes team, and you will be responsible for meeting programme quality standards for your unit. You will be a committed and talented individual with a background in community development and working with young people. You will contribute to programme planning, implementation and review with the programmes management team, and proactively share your expertise to strengthen our Southern Highlands programme. You will be committed to Restless Development’s mission and values.

Volunteer Peer Educators - Iringa and Mbeya regions

We are looking for a talented, motivated and ambitious young people to implement our rural based programme in the region of Iringa and Mbeya. Working with rural communities, young people and local stakeholders throughout the regions, your role will be to supervise and monitor our youth led programme through community volunteers in the goal areas, and ensuring integration of policy monitoring and advocacy, youth sector coordination and partnerships, and sharing of good practice across all our projects.

This is a volunteering position within our programmes team, and you will be responsible for meeting programme quality standards for your supervision. You will be a committed and talented individual with knowledge in community development and working with young people. You will contribute to programme implementation and review with the programmes staffs’ team, and proactively share your expertise to strengthen our Southern Highlands programme. You will be committed to Restless Development’s mission and values.
