Senior Software Developer required with .Net, C#, SQL and Scrum experience required for highly successful international I.T. Services company.

Exciting opportunity for Senior Software Developer to join a Scrum engineering team of 6-7 people at the companies Copenhagen office in Denmark and take part in developing their advanced web crawling and p2p monitoring solutions, and surrounding tools and interfaces.

Required Skills for Senior Software Developer:

• At least 5 years of experience in working with Microsoft .NET and C#
• Experience in projects involving distributed components
• Solid experience in working with Microsoft ASP.NET MVC including practical experience with jQuery, WCF basics and understanding of AJAX
• Strong experience with design and development of relational databases using MS SQL Server 2005/2008
• Good understanding of and experience applying OO design and strong focus on quality and maintainability of code

Knowledge and experience within any of the following areas will also be useful:

• Working experience in Scrum team
• Knowledge of LINQ
• Knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3
• Knowledge of common architecture and design patterns, and ability to evaluate when/how to apply these in various situations
• General principles of test driven development and specific experience in working with unit testing and mocking framework
• O/R mapping and practical experience with Entity Framework, LINQ to SQL

Personal Qualifications:

• Responsible and self-motivated, but able to function well within a team and eager to communicate with other engineers
• Ability to pick up new skills and learn new technologies as required and when relevant for the job
• Desire to share knowledge and experience with others and provide feedback and input – both proactively as well as in response to requests or as part of a code review process
