Your role
The Microfinance Training Centre Manager, Africa (MTCM) will report to the Head of Technical Assistance, Ghana Hub Manager and will play a strategic role in the development, organisation and administration of the Training Centres within the Africa region. The MTCM will work with relevant departments within the organisation to develop training priority list for the Africa region, plan and execute technical training for Partners, train the trainer programmes and micro-finance training. Further, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring and overseeing Africa’s training centre budget as well as seeking funding sources, managing a team of trainers and facilitator while cultivating and seeking out potential partnerships with training institutes and universities in areas where the Organisation operates across Africa.

Your profile
As a minimum, the ideal candidate must have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, International Business, Organisational Development, or other related field. Master degree preferred
  • 8-10 years of experience in Microfinance, organisational development and training
  • Demonstrated ability to design and manage projects with key focus on project priorities and budget
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with curriculum design and training delivery principles
  • Proven ability to manage a cadre of training facilitators, consultants, vendors and remote staff of diverse backgrounds
  • Strong project management and advanced MS Office skills
  • Excellent leadership, customer service, and communication skills and ability to adapt to different cultures and learning styles.
