Position Description:
Duties & Responsibilities
Advises the Chief Manpower Management Officer on matters concerning administration, personnel, welfare and industrial relations
Prepares and implements training and development programmes for employees.
Deals with day-to-day administration of personal emoluments such as changes in salaries, increments and other payments
Carries out periodic human resource planning and human resource audit
Reviews staff regulations and scheme of service.
Prepares annual recurrent budget in close liaison with Finance department
Interprets policies and service regulations to ensure their proper application
Performs any other duties as may be assigned to him by the Chief Manpower Management Officer
Entry Requirements/Qualifications
Holder of a Masters degree in Human Resource Management
At least six years working experience in the relevant field, three of which must be in a senior position
Must be computer literate
Remuneration
An attractive package within the Corporation's approved salary structure (under review) but not below PGSS 16 plus other fringe benefits.
