HEAD OF DEPARTMENT: MICROBIOLOGY & VIROLOGY

JOINT APPOINTMENT BETWEEN NHLS AND THE UNIVERSITY


Key job responsibilities: • Create a vision and provide leadership to the department/division to foster excellence and harmonious delivery of NHLS and University teaching, research and service mandates and expectations • Provide an efficient operational platform that will enhance the objectives expected of an academic pathology laboratory • Manage the academic pathology laboratory as determined in the Umbrella and Bilateral Agreements between the NHLS and the University.
