ORGANISATIONAL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

This position, which reports to the HR Executive, provides first-line support and leadership to enable the business to implement and continuously pursue best practices for organisational development, performance management and rewards, remuneration and benefits research, analysis and implementation as part of strategic talent management, as well as statistical analysis of Human Resources information for strategic business decisions.

The incumbent will accept responsibility and perform the following primary duties:
• Organisational Development (OD) for long-term organisational positioning • Develop and implement a remuneration strategy including constant monitoring and research of remuneration and benefits surveys • Develop and implement a performance management framework that is aligned with and enhances individual and team performance culture • Embed and manage the job evaluation system • Perform all relevant management of resources related to the unit • Analyse implementation and constantly report progress on the implementation of EE decisions to the Executive team • Embed organisational change management as part of OD • Ensure HR technology usage and monitoring thereof • Report submission • Compliance with all relevant acts • Ensure submission of matters to the Board and Remuneration Committee on all matters related to remuneration, benefits and incentives • Develop and manage organisational structures that gear the company for growth and success.


Requirements: • A Human Resources degree. An Honours degree in HR will be an added advantage • 7 to 10 years’ Organisational Development (OD) and remuneration management experience, and a proven record of success in these areas • SAP HR working knowledge coupled with excellent Microsoft Office skills, including advanced Excel and intermediate Word and PowerPoint • Strong analytical skills, with good experience in interpreting and producing high-quality, accurate management information • The ability to present at Executive level and achieve results under tight deadlines • Direct knowledge of OD, performance management and remuneration, including the job evaluation system (TASK).
