If you do, Cambre Associates is offering an exciting opportunity to someone who has excellent experience of working in or with the European Parliament and who has a genuine interest in European politics.

The role

  • Monitor parliamentary business and activity and identify opportunities for our clients to engage with MEPs and parliament staff;
  • Use your excellent personal network to maintain effective relations and communicate regularly with MEPs and parliamentary assistants from all parties and Parliament staff;
  • Contribute to the role out of communications and strategies to engage the European Parliament and other EU institutions in support of advocacy and outreach campaigns;
  • Work with colleagues to plan parliamentary influencing campaigns and deliver effective communications, include events, in the European Parliament.

Skills required

  • Must have a proven ability in a parliamentary, public affairs, campaigns or related role in Brussels;
  • Deep understanding of the workings of the European Parliament and the EU in general;
  • Ability to work both individually and as part of a team;
  • Fluent written and spoken English and good drafting skills;
  • Ability to organise own workload and take responsibility for own work;
  • Confidence in communicating with people at all levels;
  • Evidence of developing and maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders;
  • Ability to multi-task and a proactive ‘can do’ attitude.
