Bond is seeking an enthusiastic, highly organised and experienced individual to support and strengthen Bond and Bond member engagement at EU and international levels.

You will have an excellent knowledge of international development issues, the range of advocacy tools and approaches and EU and/or wider international political decision-making processes. You will have experience in developing and implementing collaborative advocacy strategies and working with the UK and/or European civil society on advocacy activities on international development and/or other global issues.

The main purpose of this position is to

  • Stimulate, support and strengthen the engagement of Bond members with collective advocacy at EU level to target European decision-makers for positive change for international development, with a particular focus on EU aid quantity and quality;
  • Lead and coordinate effective Bond advocacy at the UK and international level by working with UK NGOs and their partners to influence priority processes such as the G20 and UN;
  • Ensure Bond acts as an effective influencing partner with NGO National Platforms and other partners in Europe and internationally, and as an effective UK Platform within CONCORD in the EU.
