Hawaii QMS Coordinator
Description
The QMS Coordinator has responsibility for leading all aspects of
the Quality Management System for HI Manufacturing Operations.
Duties include:
- Lead and coordinate internal company and external audits. This includes corporate and site scheduled audits.
- Facilitate Management Review Meetings with timely follow-up on generated action items.
- Ensure Training is reported, tracked and competency is evaluated.
- Facilitate regular procedure review and ensure current documents are being utilized.
- Manage and generate monthly reports on data contained in Monsanto Complaints and Audit System (MCAS) while providing oversight to ISO-Technicians to ensure the sites are initiating and maintaining CARs, PARs and CI's.
- Act as a liaison between manufacturing and quality functions in order to meet quality objectives in conjunction with the HI Stewardship Coordinator and ISO-Technicians.
- Act as an auditor in the Monsanto Corporate Audit program.
- Maintain positive working relationship with HI leadership, site personnel and the MSP Regulatory and the MSP Process Improvement Managers.
- Ensure site meets all corporate ISO 9001:2008 requirements as outlined by the North American Seed Manufacturing Group.
- Participate in North American Seed Manufacturing ISO Tech Network meetings to help build network outside of the HI Manufacturing locations.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
- B.S. Degree in Agronomy, Agriculture or related area
- Previous experience working within an ISO certified program
- Communication skills including the capability to clearly present information and influence or persuade others through oral or written communications.
- Results oriented leadership
- Decision-making and problem solving skills. Ability to take action in solving problems while exhibiting judgment and a realistic understanding of issues, even when dealing with emotional topics.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience in seed manufacturing or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
- Ability to influence people and teams in such a manner as to build high morale and group commitments to goals and objectives; e.g. team orientation.
